Hello! My name is Professor Price, and I have been a math instructor at Fullerton College since 2002. Thanks for checking out my website! I love teaching math, and look forward to each new semester. My classes use MyLab and Mastering (also called MyMathLab). The information below is some general class information. More detailed class information will be found on Canvas towards the start of the semester (and after you are registered for a class).

If you are looking for specific information, or have questions, feel free to reach out and contact me at rprice1@fullcoll.edu

Math 130/131: Calculus for Business

Math 130 and Math 131 classes will use the MyMathLab online homework program.  Registration for MyMathLab is required.  This will require a payment of approximately $75 (this cost may change each semester depending on the publisher fee)  Students have the option of using the online textbook within MyMathLab,  or purchasing a hard copy of the book.  The textbook for the class is Calculus with Applications (12th Edition) by Lial, Greenwell, and Ritchey.

Math 131 is designed to give students extra support to aid in succeeding in the class.  Those classes will have additional class time to be used for activities such as algebra review and answering student homework questions.

If you have any questions, please email me at rprice1@fullcoll.edu .

Math 100:

Math 100 Liberal Arts Mathematics will use the MyMathLab online homework program.  Registration for MyMathLab is required, and there is a feww associated with the MyLab registration.  Students have the option of using the online textbook within MyMathLab,  or purchasing a hard copy of the book.  The textbook for the class is Thinking Mathematically (Eighth Edition) by Robert Blitzer.

The on-campus classes will have a partially flipped model, so please expect to do some independent learning as assigned prior to each class meeting.

The online classes are not self-paced.  There will due dates each week, as well as discussion boards to interact with other online students.

Students in both on-campus and online classes will need to have an app or scanner that will allow them to convert written work to PDF form to submit.

If you have any questions, please email me at rprice1@fullcoll.edu .
