New TA Mentorship Program Coordinator: Fall 2002-Spring 2003<\/span><\/p>\n

Paired experienced TAs with new TAs to encourage support and cooperation among all TAs in the department.<\/span><\/p>\n

Guest Speaker in Spanish 490 Class: <\/em><\/strong>June 2003<\/span>
\n Presented \u201cSpanish III Web-based activities\u201d to teach TAs how to apply them in their classrooms.<\/span><\/p>\n

Standards for Exams:<\/em><\/strong> Fall 2002<\/span>
\n Created Standards to ensure more uniform testing and align the sections and points for all Spanish 1-6 midterms and finals.<\/span><\/p>\n

Guest Speaker in Spanish 495 Class<\/em><\/strong>: <\/strong>November 2002<\/span>
\n Presented \u201cTime Management\u201d <\/em>to help new TAs balance their teaching responsibilities with their scholarly endeavors<\/span><\/p>\n

Spanish IV Digital Program, Community Outreach: <\/em><\/strong>Summer 2003 and Summer 2004<\/span>
\n Received a grant from the Office for Instructional Development (OID) for the creation of an instructional digital program for Spanish IV. Created the Web-based Program described above<\/span><\/p>\n
