My name is Michael Moore. Before I get to my teacher stuff, a little bit about me first.

Education

I graduated from Fullerton College in May of 2014 with my A.S. Degree and certificate in Paralegal Studies. I also graduated from National University in September of 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. The law has always been something close to my heart, and my passion to add to the knowledge others seek about the law is limitless.

Working Experience

I have been a paralegal working in civil law for over twelve years. During those years, I was going to school and getting the pieces of my life together. I have worked in both small and mid-sized law firms, with both environments providing me a wealth of knowledge and experience that I am excited to share with others, including those students who take any course I teach at Fullerton College.

My knowledge and experience also include the concept of ethics, which refers to the responsibilities and duties of paralegals that parallel those of attorneys working in the field. Over the past few years, I have shared my experiences in the field and useful advice through guest speaking at Fullerton College to those starting off in the program. I have shared this insight and knowledge as an adjunct instructor since 2018, and now continue that work through my instruction in the Paralegal Studies Program full-time.

As the program director, I intend to bring prestige, prosperity, and a sense of pride to all involved in the program. Our Program is approved by the American Bar Association, which is something we at Fullerton College take great pride in.

Hobbies and Likes

In my spare time, I am a PS5 gamer. My favorite games are typically role playing, fantasy, and horror. Some notable titles for me are Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, and Assassin’s Creed. However, my childhood bears fond memories of Sonic the Hedgehog and I still play the original Sonic scrollers games that have been remade and remastered for the Playstation. I also like the occasional game night and traveling when I have the time to do so. Much of my time is dedicated to the success of the Paralegal Studies Program, but I do take the time needed to relax and unwind every now and again.

Linkedin

Feel free to connect with me on Linkedin.

Thank you taking the time to get acquainted with who I am.
