Hello! My name is Mrs. Price, and I have been a math instructor at Fullerton College since 2002. Thanks for checking out my website! I love teaching math, and look forward to each new semester. My classes use MyLab and Mastering (also called MyMathLab). The information below is general information for the Fall 2022 semester. Most class information will be found on Canvas (after you are registered for a class).

If you are looking for specific information, feel free to reach out and contact me at rprice1@fullcoll.edu

Spring 2023:

If you have questions about my Spring 2023 classes, please email me at rprice1@fullcoll.edu

Math 130: Calculus for Business
Math 131: Enhanced Calculus for Business (Busines Calc WITH support)

For the Fall 2022 semester, I will have one Math 130 online class, and one Math 131 class that will be in person.  Please note that the Math 131 is an “Enhanced Calculus for Business” with an extra unit devoted to additional assistance in the class.  This assistance will include activities such as Algebra Review and going over homework questions.

Both Math 130 and Math 131 will use the MyMathLab online homework program.  Registration for MyMathLab is required.  Students have the option of using the online textbook within MyMathLab,  or purchasing a hard copy of the book.  The textbook for the class is Calculus with Applications (12th Edition) by Lial, Greenwell, and Ritchey.  Students will also need a class note packet; it can be downloaded for use on a tablet, printed from the posted PDFs, or purchased as a packet from the bookstore.

Note that the online class will require TWO on campus exams.  If you have questions about the on-campus test dates and times, please email Mrs. Price at rprice1@fullcoll.edu .  Please note that students will also need to have an app or scanner that will allow them to convert written work to PDF form to submit.

Math 100: HYBRID classes

Note that for the Fall 2022 semester, my two Math 100 classes will be hybrid classes, which will meet once a week in person, with much of the learning completed online.

Math 100 Liberal Arts Mathematics will use the MyMathLab online homework program.  Registration for MyMathLab is required.  Students have the option of using the online textbook within MyMathLab,  or purchasing a hard copy of the book.  The textbook for the class is Thinking Mathematically (Eighth Edition) by Robert Blitzer.

Students will also need to have an app or scanner that will allow them to convert written work to PDF form to submit.
